The story behind the name

Everyone gets f*cked up. Almost no one has to stay that way.

Stuck. Burned out. Quietly coming apart while everything looks fine on paper. There is an honest word for that place, and we spend real energy pretending we are not standing in it. This practice makes the opposite bet: that the moment you say the hard thing out loud is the moment it stops owning you and starts showing you the way up.

The honest word

Somewhere along the way, most of us get stuck. Not broken. Stuck. The project stalls, the role stops fitting, the same argument repeats at home, and the harder we push the less actually moves. There is a plain, human word for that feeling, and polite language keeps it at arm's length. I decided not to. Naming a thing honestly is the first step to changing it, and every good piece of coaching I have ever seen begins with someone finally saying the true sentence out loud.

Two ways to be stuck

Being f*cked up is not a verdict on your character. It is a state, and it tends to show up in two kinds. Professionally, the scope outgrows the old playbook, the calendar starts to own you, and ambition slowly curdles into exhaustion. Personally, the relationships, the health, and the sense of who you are outside the job quietly erode while you are busy delivering for everyone else. Most of the people I work with are carrying some of both at once. That is normal. Saying so plainly is oddly freeing.

The crack is not the end of you. It is the seam where the light gets in, and the direction you climb out.

The mark: the crack that points up

The logo is a circle with a golden fault line running through it, breaking free at the top as an arrow. It borrows from kintsugi, the Japanese practice of repairing broken pottery with gold, so that the mend becomes the most beautiful part of the object rather than a flaw to be hidden. The name and the mark carry the same idea. The break is real, and it can become the very place you grow from.

A starting point, not an insult

So the name is not cynical, and it is not despair. It is permission. Everyone gets stuck. Almost everyone can get unstuck, provided they genuinely want to and are willing to do the work. That last condition is where coaching lives, and it is the only condition I cannot supply for you.

Where the work goes from here

Because the stuck place comes in two kinds, so does the work. One track is for the professional knot, the re-org and the scope and the version of yourself your team gets. The other is for the personal one, the energy and the relationships and the life the job keeps borrowing against. Most journeys touch both. Wherever you start, the goal is the same: to move again, on purpose, without leaving the rest of your life behind.
